I Can Breath Again!!

I know that I have been posting some really generic stuff, but in my defense I have been trying to juggle way too many things and trying to get this up and running. Trying to do this has wrecked my immune system. Go ahead and insert the part here where I should have been using an oil for that because it is true. I did stay away from that nasty co pay at the doctors office though and use my R.C. oil to help me breath again when my head stuffed up so bad I could hardly breath. I have heard several testimonies on how this little bottle of oil has helped several people so I decided to put it to the test. As always still the skeptic, because I still can hardly believe everything these oils are capable of, I tried it on my foot beneath my toes. Yes, my toes. Immediately my head started opening up and I could breath again! If I hadn't done it to myself I'm not sure I would believe how fast it worked, but it did.
I will never again spend a co-pay, drug costs or gas money on allergies again! This little bottle of oil saved me about 60.00. I still have almost a whole bottle left and can use it again and again. It won't go out of date like medication will, it is all natural and I can't become addicted to it...well maybe just because I like the smell.

Thieves Doesn't Steal From You. It Gives You an Advantage

Thieves essential oil is a blend of highly antiviral, antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-infectious oils.
It was created based on legends about a group of 15th century thieves who rubbed oils on themselves to avoid contracting  the plague while they robbed the bodies of the dead and dying. When they were captured they were forced to tell what herbs and spices they had rubbed on their bodies to keep from contracting the diseases for a more lenient punishment.
Studies done at Weber State University during 1997 showed the killing power of these oils against airborne microorganisms. One analysis showed a 90% drop in the number of gram positive organisms after diffusing for 12 minutes. After 20 minutes of diffusing, the kill-rate jumped to 99.3%
The oils included in this mixture is Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus and Rosemary which is a key ingredient in antiseptic drugs.

Personal Usage: What got me hooked on using Thieves was my daughters migraines. She has migraines to a point that she cannot communicate. At all, she becomes catatonic. We were told to put a drop of Thieves on her thumb and have her press it against the roof of her mouth for a couple of seconds and when she did her migraine disappeared and she was able to talk again. This stuff is amazing. You can use it to stay well also by applying it to the bottoms of your feet everyday. Believe me, it works.

Have You Ever Heard About Lemon?

Lemon has a fresh citrus scent. Did you know that it takes 3,000 lemons to produce 1 kilo of oil? Lemon diffused into the air can kill bacteria including Staphylococcus aureus in two hours according to research by Jean Valenet, M.D.  In 1995 Mie University studies found that citrus fragrances boosted immunity, induced relaxation, and reduced depression. Now, don’t you think we could all use a little more lemon in our day?
Now that all the boring stuff is done…
Yes, I am essentially hooked on oils. I love my Young Living oils and I am not ashamed to be called an oil junkie. My husband calls them my Bible Brews. I love it. I am just getting started telling everyone about my passion with oils and I hope you will check in and see what is new. Please leave me comments and tell me more of what you would like to hear about. I will try and keep these short and sweet. But, no promises. I love my oils and sometimes I can really rattle on and on about them.

Say Goodbye to Pain

Panaway is my answer to muscle aches and pains. You have to know that I am new to essential oils. There is a lot I am still learning and I will post what I know works for me and sometimes it will also include what I have seen work with others.
I love to work in my yard. I am also a little strange and love to paint and move furniture in my home. This always leads to being sore and feeling like someone has beaten me with a pole. I have now started mixing my Panaway with some grape seed oil and putting it in a roller bottle. As I feel the pain start I just roll a little on and within seconds the pain is gone. The good thing about essential oils you can use them as often as you like and there are no side effects like with prescription meds.
I know some people started using oils to move toward a more healthier lifestyle and I will be honest. I would love to eat healthier but I haven’t reached that point of restraint in my life yet. I hope to get there some day but at least this is a place to start. I also still use some prescription medications. I don’t think I have enough knowledge this early on to be able to get rid of all my prescriptions.
If you have any questions always feel free to leave a comment and I am going to keep studying and letting you know what I find out that works for my family. Keep reading and pass this blog along.

Sleep Combination Keeps Me Snoozing

I am so sorry that it has taken so long to get back in touch with my blog. I won’t make any excuses or promises, but I will say I am feeling more able to organize my time these days.
I wanted everyone out there to know that I have suffered with insomnia my entire life. When my parents wanted me to clean my room I would wait until late night to get started because once the sun went down I was ready to get up and get moving. I wish I had kept this quality after having my children. It would have made those 2 a.m. feedings a whole lot easier. Now that everyone is grown I suffer from fibromyalgia which can keep you run down and make you want to sleep a lot. The only down side to this is that when you take the naps during the day you can’t sleep at night. The doctors over the years have tried medication to help me to sleep but non of it does a very good job. I have been on 12.5 mg of Ambien for years and still wake up a couple of hours after falling asleep and get very little rest. Since starting to use my essential oils from Young Living I have found a few combinations that have helped and the doctors have decreased my medication. Hopefully one day I will find the right combo and come off of medication permanently.
Right now I would like to tell you about what I use and what I hope can help you.
Cedarwood: It is steam distilled from the bark. History: Throughout antiquity, cedar wood has been used in medicines. The Egyptians used it for embalming the dead. It was used as both a traditional medicine and incense in Tibet. Medical Properties: combats hair loss, antibacterial, lymphatic stimulant. Uses: You can apply directly to the area needed, put on the vita flex points of the feet, diffuse, or take as a dietary supplement.
Personally I love the smell so I will diffuse 3-4 drops of Cedarwood and any other essential oil that I like to smell together for a good nights sleep. (I love the smell of Lavender and Orange with this)
If you would like to contact me about anything you read here please leave a comment or check out my new website: https://myoilsite.com/tammy-parker.
In the next few posts I will start talking about the oils that comes with the premium starter kits and how they have helped me or friends and family.
